Build PoweredAcre with us
PoweredAcre is free. It gets better when people who live near these projects point us to what we missed. Every contribution is checked against a public source before anything on a county page changes.
Request a county
Tell us where to look next. The most-requested counties are researched first.
Send a source or correction
Found something wrong, out of date or missing? Send a link to a public document, such as a county agenda, a utility filing or a news report. If it checks out, the page is updated and its “Last reviewed” date changes.
Ask a question about your county
Each county page has a moderated Local discussion section at the bottom. Posts are reviewed before they appear, emails are never shown, and community posts are kept separate from cited facts.
Share what you find
Every county, campus and utility page has Share and Cite buttons. On the 3D map, drop a pin and copy its link to show a neighbor exactly where a project is relative to power lines.
Community rules
- Be respectful. No personal attacks.
- Stick to facts about the county, and link a public source for claims.
- Do not post private information about anyone.
- PoweredAcre is neutral. It does not take sides for or against any project.
See how we handle what you send in the privacy policy.
